On the 2013 Law adding an engineering undergraduate seat to FEA and making FAFS a free-for-all faculty: In 2012, March 14 swept the two engineering undergraduate seats (as well as the engineering SRC) and March 8 won the 2 seats of FAFS. The change in FAFS was said to have been made in order for March 8 to accept the change in FEA.
On the 2015 Law eliminating the architecture/design seat: In 2013, the architecture/design seat along with all four corresponding FEA-SRC seats was swept by secular independent students. In 2014, the feat was repeated, establishing the Department of Architecture & Design as a stronghold for the secular independents. Engineering undergraduates are traditionally swept by March 14 or March 8, but never independents.
Indeed, AUB is not an isolated island!
